I'm also going to be using it some top coat of course this small paintbrush i think i got it from a craft store i really don't remember they're so cheap at craft stores and they're perfect for an alert so this is the one that I used and then i'm going to be using these stencils from the what's up nail store again I'll just put all the links in the description so you can check that out as always I am starting off with my clean natural nail and applying my base coat this is going to help the manicure last longer and also going to keep the color from staining my nails once that's dry i'm going to apply a couple quick coats of my white nail polish and you guys already know that.

I don't have a steady hand so I'm just going to fix that up with a small little concealer brush and some acetone now i'm just going to apply some liquid latex around my nail this is not a required step you can use tape if you want to or you can just clean it up after the fact if you don't have either of those options this is just something that helps clean up a little bit easier this is a brand that I'm trying out for the first time I'm just testing it out for this video so we'll see how it goes so now i'm just going to take a cosmetic sponges just one of those wedges that you can get from a drug store and I'm going to be applying each of my polishes in overlapping stripes on the edge of that and I really want to saturate the sponge to make sure that it's nice and wet I don't want any of the little bits of sponge to come off onto my nail when I'm dabbing it on and then that's exactly what i'm going to do i'm just going to dab it onto my nail it's gonna take a few coats so if it looks this pale just reapply the colors onto the sponge and then keep jabbing until it looks perfect and then you can peel off your with latex if you use it and apply some top coat now there is more to this manicure but let's just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous this gradient is I love this color combination it's got to be my favorite that I've ever done so far so let's just appreciate it for a moment ok once you're done appreciating your beautiful gradient and your nails are totally dry you can apply these stencil from the what's up nail store this is the one that I got it's so cool and swirly and like mysterious-looking I don't know which is really fun and now i'm actually going to be using my little nail art brush to apply my Navy polish over it you definitely don't have to do this it's.
Just I feel like it makes it a little bit more precise so there are less mistakes but you can just use the regular bottle brush if you want to do that and i decided to go with navy blue instead of black because it just much better so once you've got the design completely covered you can very carefully peel off the stencil now with stencils like this where there are a lot of little pieces you want to just be super careful because it's going to be a little bit difficult to pull off without smudging the design but the more you do it the easier it will get so no worries about that and then if there are any mistakes you can take your little paintbrush again with some acetone on it which is pure nail polish remover and you can just start lightly wiping off because we have that top coat layer in between the gradient and the navy blue polish it's going to be a little bit easier to wipe off any mistakes without ruining the gradient underneath and then once everything is totally dry you can apply your top coat just make sure that you wait until the darker color is completely dry otherwise it will smudge on your nails and then you're going to ruin your beautiful design
